In the framework of III International Festival of Queer Culture DOTYK, Social and sports projects together with the Minsk Urban Platform are inviting you to attend the two-day workshop "Represent Sport in a Different Way: Gender-Sensitive Playgrounds"

According Magglingen Declaration (Switzerland, 2003) sport has been delcared as a human right bringing hollistic benefits to our lives. Yet in accessing it, women have to overcome different obstacles. In some countries women are not well seen and accepted when doing sports. Although the awareness of the importance of including women and other marginalized groups in sports initiatives, and the need to eliminate gender stereotyping is made explicit, there is otherwise little recognition of the gendered nature of sport.

How do we ensure better access to the playgrounds and sport facilities for women, kids, elders?
